Fireworx Genius&Adept
This contest targets two types of artists: GeniusClass Sourcerers, who are responsible for the original story setting, page layout, and frame layout up to the storyboard, and AdeptClass Sourcerers, who take on the graphic design and all inking for the comics. Held once a year from April to the end of September, artists participating in the Genius Class should register their storyboards by the end of June. Then, all the storyboards are published on the Source website. Artists participating in the Adept Class select their preferred storyboard from the Genius Class published in July and register by the end of September. The entries are not judged by the number of pages but by the quality of the story and setting, the level of graphics, and the compatibility of the story with the graphics.
